Teacher of the Year Honoree Reception

On Thursday/January 12, 2012, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. @ Texas Southern University College of Education Building Room 318, the Houston Area Alliance of Black School Educators (HAABSE) will host a reception for the 2012 Teacher of the Year candidates from across the Greater Houston and surrounding areas.  Candidates will learn more information about the annual banquet on Saturday/February 11, 2012, the Teacher of the Year selection process, and receive other pertinent data.

It is not too late for campuses to recognize its Teacher of the Year Candidate at the HAABSE 
25th Annual Outstanding Teacher Awards and Recognition Ceremony.  The deadline
has been extended to January 27, 2012.  Applicants need only to submit the Nomination
Data Sheet and a photo.
 
In addition, please see information regarding the Honoree Reception for candidates which
will be held on January 12, 2012.
