The purpose of our Outstanding Teacher Awards and Recognition Ceremony is to say thank you to teachers for the outstanding job they do in working with children, and to provide for the community an opportunity to participate in this recognition. Sponsorship Levels
- Bronze: $1000 (Includes table of 10 at TARC)
- Silver: $1500 (Includes logo in program and table of 10 at TARC)
- Gold: $2500 (Includes logo on display screen, logo in program, and table of 10 at TARC)
- Underwriter: $5000 (Includes recognition with plaque at ceremony, logo on display screen, logo in program, and table of 10 at TARC)
Teacher nominees from each participating school are recognized and honored simply by completing Part I of the application (Data Form and Photo). Teacher nominees who compete for the HAABSE Teacher of the Year honor, however, must be a HAABSE member and complete all parts of the application. Teachers must have the approval of their principal. Teachers may use the link to apply by December 14, 2018. Applicants after that date can still be recognized during the ceremony.

A $1,000 College Scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior in pursuit of a degree in education. Winner(s) will be announced at the HAABSE Teacher Awards and Recognition Ceremony. Students may use the link to apply by January 4, 2019.

The HAABSE Retired Educators’ Committee will review applications, determine and interview finalists, and then select the Teacher of the Year recipients and runner-ups who win monetary awards ranging from $100.00 to $1,000.
